Evaporator refrigeration cycle

During the normal cooling cycle thermostat, the room temperature rises above installation the thermostat is the need for refrigeration. Liquid solenoid (valve) and integrated pilot valve (D) open, allowing the flow of refrigerant. Opening built in pilot allows the pressure to get around the sensing chamber valve D. This causes it to remain open and cause minimum pressure drop through the valve.

When the room temperature drops to low thermostat setting, it is no longer necessary referation. Electromagnetic valves and valve D close. They remain closed until in the refrigerator again required. Hot gas valve C and thawing of water solenoid valve E closed during the cooling cycle.
