Compressor functions

Compressor acts as the heart of the refrigeration system by creating a flow of refrigerant in the system. In the process, she takes of refrigerant vapour at low pressure and temperature, and picks up a pair of high temperature and pressure.

As a result of:

  • Pressure and temperature of the refrigerant in the evaporator omitted, thus allowing a refrigerant for heat absorption.
  • Pressure and temperature of the refrigerant in the condenser raised; this process allows the refrigerant to reject heat.
