Heat pumps and heat recovery

All cooling systems, heat pump (HP) in the sense that heat is supplied from a cool environment to a warmer one. If the flow of refrigerant in the cooling system is restored, a heat exchanger, which was the evaporator becomes the condenser and Vice versa. The reversing valve is used to enable a system to operate in any mode (see Fig. 27.1).
