Water Regulating Valves

Water consumption through water-cooled condenser to the wastewater treatment system is automatically controlled by the regulating valve. These valves are designed to respond to changes in discharge pressure of the compressor. High-side pressure changes, which are used to regulate the flow of water in the condenser tubes, thereby maintaining die of the pressure and temperature of condensation in accordance with the specified value. Water regulating valves installed at the water pipe connected to the inlet to the condenser.

Water control valve consists of a body of the valve, pressure bellows and set point adjustment spring. Bellows is connected to the valve stem on which the plug connector is mounted. The dome, containing the bellows is connected to the suction line of the large cylinder capillary tube and flares. Changes in discharge pressure its force acting on the top of furs change, causing the bellows expansion or compression. These changes in the position of the plug / socket connector with respect to a chair. Setpoint spring applies a force that opposes produced discharge pressure acting on the bellows.

These two forces keep the valve cone to the position required to maintain the discharge pressure. When the compressor is running an increase of discharge pressure compresses the bellows, positioning the plug from the seat. This action increases the flow of water in the condenser, reducing the pressure of condensation. As the condensing pressure falls, the force produced bellows decreases and set point adjustment spring forces plug in the side of the seat, reduction of water flow.

When the compressor cycles off, the water valve initially remain open, allowing water still flowing through the condenser until the pressure in the refrigerant circuit is reduced to a value that allows the valve is fully close. This trip pressure minimum operating pressure of the valve. Set point adjustment spring must be set to a value greater than the saturation pressure of the refrigerant, which meets the highest expected ambient temperature at the condenser place. This strategy ensures diat the valve will not remain open and allow water to flow through to die condenser when the compressor is switched off and the surrounding heat.

When the compressor cycles, water valve remains closed die until the pressure in die capacitor creates to opening pressure. Operating water pressure regulating valve is factory installed on constant spring about 7 pounds per square inch (48 kPa) above the pressure off. Although die of water regulating valve maintains the condensing pressure reasonably tend to be higher during peak periods dian in the light load.

Water capacity valve varies depending on the size of the valve and pressure drop into place. The available pressure drop across the valve seat is calculated by subtracting the pressure drop across the capacitor, and a conduit to die from the General pressure of available water connection to engineering. To select the correct valve water-cooled application, the required water volume, the maximum ambient temperature, the required temperature and condensation of water available pressure drop across the valve must be known. Since water regulating valves, usually selected from a flowchart, manufacturers literature is used to identify correctly the valve size for the application...
