Water Defrosting Systems

Water freezing the system is running tap water through the evaporator when the system is turned off. This is done automatically or manually. During this operation, the evaporator blinds closed. The water is warm enough to melt the ice. Then it flows into the drain pan. Drainage water lines should be completed before the unit is switched on or the water freezes.

Tyres water can be sprayed through the evaporator. This may be filed in a saucepan, located through the evaporator instead . Holes in the pallet feed the water evenly through the evaporator. Electric timer enables automatic control. Fig. 13-82 shows the principle of defrost water. Two types of manual defrost water is shown. It also shows one automatic defrost system.

Special systems are designed to defrost spray seawater through the evaporator. The pump may be used for the recycling of lithium chloride brine. Eliminator plates needed to prevent splashes of brine from passing into the refrigerated space.
