Fan Applications

The numerous requests of fans in the field of air-conditioning and ventilation are well known, especially for engineers and air-conditioning repair and maintenance personnel. Various fan following applications:

Exhaust fans
Circulating fans
Cooling tower fans
Kitchen fans
Attic fans

Exhaust fans in all types of applications, according to the American Society of Heating and Ventilation Engineers. Wall fans are mostly screw type, because they are working against virtually without resistance. They are listed in capacity from 1000 up to 75 000 ft3/min They sometimes included in factory penthouses and a roof or cap provided coinciding with automatic blinds. Hood exhaust fans with the participation of duct mostly centrifugal, especially in handling hot or corrosive fumes.

Spray-booth exhaust fans often centrifugal, especially if it is built in the Autonomous stands. Tubeaxial fans particularly well suited for this application where the cleaning and suspension section air ducts profitable.

For such applications, the built-in cleaning door is desirable.

Circulating fans invariably propeller or disk blocks, and are made in a variety of blade shapes and mechanisms. They are designed for appearance, as well as utilities. Cooling tower fans, mostly screw type. However, axial also used for Packed columns, and sometimes centrifugal fan is used to supply the project. Kitchen fans for internal use by small propeller fans staged for the window or wall mounting, and a variety of helpful tools. They are listed in a capacity range from 300 to 800 ft3/min

Attic fans are used during the summer to attract large amounts of outdoor air through the house or building whenever the outside temperature is lower than inside. It is in this manner that is relatively cool evening or night air is used to cool the interior in one or several rooms, depending on the location of air cooling devices. It should be clearly understood, however, that in the attic fan is not strictly a piece of air-conditioning equipment, because it only moves the air and cool, clean, or drainage. Attic fans are used mainly due to their low cost and efficiency, combined with their ability to produce cooling by means of air circulation, and not for conditioning.
