Evaporator Defrost

Many evaporators operate at temperatures below freezing. The demand for open Windows and frozen food requires these low-temperature systems. Blower evaporators are often used. Low temperature and small fin distances often thawing necessary. Frost accumulation would otherwise soon clog the evaporator. Other types of evaporators also need to defrost, though not as often. This should be done with very little rise in the tournament temperature.

Usually automatic defrosting. Some thawing of evaporators during Off each part of the cycle. On the other, the watchdog timer is used. Many evaporators operate at temperatures below freezing. Some thawing of evaporators during Off each part of the cycle. On the other, the watchdog timer is used. This control may include defrosting mechanism times a day, or it can be included in a specified number of hours of operation of the compressor.

There are six defrosting methods:

  • Hot refrigerant vapor system.
  • Non-freezing solution of the system.
  • Water-supply system.
  • Electric heater system.
  • Reverse cycle defrost system
  • Warm air.
These defrosting methods or evaporator heat from the inside or the outside to melt the frost. It is important to clean the evaporator, the drain pan, Sewerage system, the often.
