Air transport

Air transport allows perishable and valuable goods, moved quickly over large distances, but it lacks, environmental control, which is possible if other modes. In flight storage will keep the temperature and although it may be quite low compared to most distance, the quality of the product will largely depend on the prompt and quick processing at airports. Influence of weather conditions, while waiting for loading on aircraft or moving to and from the airport, can constitute a considerable part of the total travel. Coldrooms feature at some airports for storage of products directly before and after transportation. Solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) is used for short-term cooling of the airline's in-flight meal.
