Suction Line Service Solenoid Valve

There are several applications, in particular, suction line, where the pressure drop in the range from 2 to 4 kg/in.2 (psi) can not be tolerated. Therefore, only valves capable of opening at very low pressure drops are suitable for this type of use. Some valves enable floating disc principle and ideal for these special applications. They are capable of opening of the total pressure drops of 0.1 psi and below.

Larger capacity valves are suitable for the suction service, which is included with the internal parts, which are mechanically connected. With this arrangement, the piston is connected to the terminal and the plunger, and when the coil is energized, the piston helps in support of the piston. As a result, the pressure drop through the valve is kept to a minimum. Valves with a direct connection to the meeting place, as a rule, with the prefix D.

When these valves necessary for the absorption of service, they are supplied with spring support under the piston. The springs compensate for the main part of the pistonР‚s weight, and therefore the valve will be opened much less pressure drop than usual. Valves with a counterweight spring identified S added number prefix type.
