Technical information Expansion valves Dual-Pressure Regulator

Dual-Pressure Regulator

Function-pressure regulator shown in Fig. 10-24. It is used in the shell-andtube cooler. Two-channel regulator pressure, particularly adaptable to control the shell-and-tube brine or water coolers, which at intervals may be subjected to high loads. This location is shown in Fig. 10-24.

High pressure diaphragm is installed on the suction pressure is suitable for normal load. Low-pressure diaphragm is installed for refrigerant temperature low enough to take care of any short additional loads on the heat sink. In this case, the thermostat effect on the translation between low and high pressure. Remote bulb thermostat is located in wateror brine-line leaving the cooler. Temperature increase in this indication light load increases will lead to the thermostat to open electric pilot and transfer of low-temperature refrigerator diaphragm. After the removal of excess load, the thermostat will cause the electric pilot to close low pressure port. Cooler then transferred to the normal pressure for which high pressure diaphragm. Membranes can be installed in any two of the evaporator pressures at which it is desirable to operate.

Any electrical switching devices respond to changes in demand can be used to change the pressure in the evaporator to the other.
