Solar Heat Source for the Heat Pump

Solar energy, both direct and diffuse radiation, similar to the air by its characteristics. Solar heat pump or combined solar/thermal pump has all the disadvantages of the heat pump, low performance and extreme variability with the additional disadvantage of the high capital costs, in particular, in all cases, the warmth of the store or reserve system is a must. In areas with a high daily irradiation, maybe this is not the case.

Each of these sources of heat for heat pumps presents some drawbacks. Currently a great amount of research devoted to technical problems and alternative sources of heat. Solar energy can provide a suitable source of heat. Unfortunately, solar systems currently are very expensive. In addition, intermittent character of solar energy requires the use of large and expensive volumes.
