Crossflow Towers

Crossflow towers, as shown in Fig. 8-24, have a fill configuration, through which air flows horizontally. This means that through the sloping drop of water. Water cooled delivered hot water inlet in the basins. Swimming pools are located above the fill areas. The water is distributed to the fill by gravity through accounting holes in basinsР‚ floor. This eliminates the need to pressure spray distribution system. And puts the resulting gravity system in full view for maintenance.
