Air Ventilation

The volume of air required is determined by the amount of space for ventilation and number of times per hour that the air space should be changed. In table. 3.4 illustrates the recommended norm of air exchange for various types of premises.

In many cases, existing local regulations or codes regulate the ventilation requirements. Some of these codes on the basis of a certain volume of air per person and on the air required per square meter of floor space. Table 3-4 should serve as a guide for the average conditions. Where local codes or rules that everyone should be taken into account.
