Technical information Industrial Chilled liquids for cooling

Chilled liquid cooling

The use of chilled water or a non-stop solution for heat transfer now to replace the many applications in which the direct expansion of the refrigerant used in the past. This is due to the growing concern about security and about the quantity of refrigerant within the system. Secondary coolant allows the refrigerant was timed to selected parts of the building and also allows packaged liquid chillers for the application. Examples of applications include:
  • Chemical/pharmaceutical processes.
  • For plastics processing: injection molding, blow molding machine, extruder, PVC pipe, woven bags, film, lamination and other
  • Lubrication oil/oil cooling and dewaxing oil.
  • Chrome plating, anodizing and induction heat treatment.
  • For the pulp and paper industry.
  • Printing ink/paper waxing cooling.
  • Whitening/dyeing industry.
  • EDM machine cooling.
  • Concrete curing.
