Check valve
Check valves are designed to insure in one flow direction. They prohibit, or "check", " reverse flow". Shown here is a return valve, which opens when fluid from the left, but the handout when the liquid flows from the right.
Many types of check valves are used today, but they all work on the same principle. One of the most popular projects is a ball valve where the ball goes from her seat when the flow in the right direction. When the flow stops, the ball is in his seat, prevent flow in the opposite direction.
Check valves are typically used in heat pumps and heat return as the operating system valves. They are also used in two-temperature system.
