Technical information Refrigeration Temperature Defined

The Temperature Is Determined

Temperature is a measure of the intensity of heat in the matter. Temperature is a measure of the intensity of heat in the matter. It can also be regarded as the degree of heating a substance. It does not measure the thermal energy that was needed to change the state of a substance from solid to liquid or from liquid to vapor. In other words, the temperature of the measures sensible heat, but not latent heat.

Two scales used in the refrigeration servicing for measurement of temperature in degrees Fahrenheit (degrees F) and Celsius (in degrees Celsius). The boiling point of water at sea level is 212F or 100His C. freezing temperature is 32F or 0C. a comfortable 75F a room is about 24C. Because Fahrenheit is most often used temperature scale in the United States, we will use throughout this program.
