Hot Water Distribution System
Hot water comes tower in the upper part of his body. Flow control (balancing), valves and pipelines, collectors typically included in the towers design to facilitate uniform distribution of hot water through the cooling tower. In some designs are pipes and nozzles to spray water over the fill. In this type of tower, hot water from the condenser rises to the top of the tower, where it is sprayed through a series of spray nozzles. As the number of exposed water surface depends primarily on the spray, a good spray essential high efficiency.
For most nozzle designs, water pressure drop from 7 to 10 psi (from 48 to 70 kPa) makes a suitable spray. Other projects include the hot water pools perforated with figure 1 in (2.5 cm) hole in its bottom sheet for hot water distribution. Nozzles and distribution of holes can get connected in scale and debris washed out from the atmosphere, reducing the capacity of the tower. Therefore, filters, preventive maintenance and treatment of water are used to reduce these phenomena.
