Compressor Lubricants

Lubricating oils used in refrigeration compressors reduces friction, noise reduction, generated inside the machine, forms, seals, that limit is hit-and limits on formation of corrosion. Lubricating oils used in refrigeration compressors performs several functions. Its main objective is to reduce the friction arising between moving parts. Minimize the friction increases operational efficiency of the compressor by reducing mechanical losses. It also reduces the wear of an experienced from moving parts, increase of service life of a machine. Lubricating oils reduce friction, covering microscopic defects that exist on the surface of all materials. These peaks and valleys are called irregularities. Lubricating oils, intended to cover the surfaces of the parts on depth, which covers their microscopic peaks after filling in all the microscopic valley. Therefore, instead of adjacent surfaces touching each other, when they move, they go on hydrodynamic pillows oil. It hydrodynamic barrier limits the surface-to-surface contact that would arise if the grease is not present.

Lubricating oil is also used as heat carrier transportation of damage to the thermal energy away from moving parts.
