Repair Waffles Valves
It is better to replace the worn-out water valve, than repair. Sometimes the water valve only needs to be cleaned. In a solution of hydrochloric acid and wire brushes work best. Use the same precautions as for water treatment condenser tubes.
If the spare valve is available, valve and seat must be repaired. Valve seat brass in most cases. This can be lapped in a manner similar to the lapping the seat of the valve of the compressor.
The valve is usually made of fiber, rubber, or Bakelite material. Tt should be replaced. In an emergency, however, this valve can be checked. This is done using a fine grade of sandpaper backup on a level surface.
Sometimes gland is used to seal the joint. This is done where the valve is held in the valve body right. As a rule, packaging consists of graphite, lead and other materials. TC packing nut is turned all the way down, and that connection is still flowing, replace the packing.
Electric water valve may be the fault of electrical coils (either circuit or open circuit). To replace the coil using one with the same electrical properties (voltage, power). Thermostatic valves water may lose the item free. If so, replace them..
