Technical information Industrial Deep Vacuum

Deep Vacuum

The main difference between a deep vacuum and triple evacuation, removal of moisture. Triple evacuation will not remove all the moisture. Only the warmth and deep ("high"), the vacuum will evaporate, and remove the moisture and solvents. Some solvents in the system will evaporate only in a deep vacuum. Deep vacuum gauge is the best way to determine if the system has moisture in it, or, if there is a leak in the system. To check;
  1. Stop the vacuum pump.
  2. Close the valve vacuum pump.
  3. Watch deep vacuum gauge. If it rises, there is more moisture in the system.
Large holes should be used for deep vacuum. Piercing valve opening are not large enough. The vacuum pump should be used to remove the maximum amount of air from the air conditioner. No pump will remove all the air pump that produces 28" Hg (49 mm) vacuum will only accept about 94% of the air. 28" Hg vacuum particles of moisture must be heated to 100F (38C) or higher. Then they will evaporate and can be pumped out as water vapour.

The device must be heated to a temperature that not only vaporizes moisture, but the disks from all the cracks.

For the same reason, the unit must be started for part or all of this operation. This ensures that all pockets in the compressor bearings and responded to release air. It also warms the motor windings which are an additional source of moisture is trapped. It is good practice to evacuate the system for 8 hours at 250F (12). it can also be evacuated within 24 hours at 150F (66C).

To resolve more air, vapour charge of refrigerant in the system. Evacuate the system again. It takes more air. Repeat the charging and evacuation. Only about 0.01% of the air will remain in the system.

If a good vacuum pump is used, and draws 1 mm to 2 mm vacuum (from 1000 to 2000 microns), the system will need to be partially charged and then evacuated again. However, if a deep vacuum pump gets 50 mm to 100 mm and conducts pressure, the system clearly, moisture and air.
