Remote Temperature Sensor Elements

Remote temperature sensor elements are available in several designs. One of the main differences in the type is based on the pressure of the element. There are two common designs:
  • Higher than atmospheric pressure in the element used to control cooling temperature.
  • Below atmospheric pressure element used for the control of thermal units.
Above atmospheric pressure element is used for controls that close the electrical circuit to increased temperatures. If the item loses its charge, the device cannot start. This is known as a "fail-safe" action. It is used where a continuous running is harmful, such as refrigerators and comfort cooling units.

Below atmospheric pressure element is used for controls that open electrical circuit to increased temperatures. He is the electric thermal and electric defrost units. If the item loses its charge, bellows or diaphragm will be unable to contract due to loss of containment. Points will be opened (they are designed to close the lowering of the temperature and the temperature increase).

As in the units of the above atmospheric pressure is the "fail-safe" device. This prevents the electric air heaters from overheating.

Temperature mechanism in place of the contact of a sensitive element, in most cases, the engine management. Sensor element can be used to stop the engine at the condensation temperature rises too high. Sensors may also be used as a security device control engine operation. Industrial units, in particular, can use them to stop the engine when:

  • The flow of water through the condensing unit stops.
  • Oil pressure in the compressor is too low.
  • Head pressure is too high.
  • The desired low temperature in the Cabinet of Ministers is reached.
Many motor control can meet some of these requirements. This means that there can be more than one capillary tube enter the management engine...
