Cleaning Of Engines

While the motor is running, it should be cleaned regularly. Dust and fiber in the engine will not interfere with normal air circulation. Compressed air or hand bellows should be used frequently to blow dirt out of the motor.

Any oil that may cause overflow of the bearings must be erased. Some attention will lead to effective operation. The engine will give good service for many years.

If the engine must be dismantled, all parts must be cleaned thoroughly. This should be done before work or collected. Cleaners and detergents that will not harm the electrical insulating materials or equipment of health should be used. There are many cleaning fluids on the market. Be sure to check is used for security.

Any cleansers and detergents must be used in well ventilated and fire surroundings. Use only enough cleaning fluid for work. Too much fluid may be dangerous. Always avoid the use of carbon tetrachloride, as smoke is very toxic and can be fatal. Motor interiors, designed, but rough handling may damage them.
