Batteries

Batteries have been used for many years the original equipment. Until recently, they were in the field installation. The significance concerning the battery and system performance has never been clarified. Engineers had to evaluate each model from the point of view of the system in which it will be applied. Application in the field has been primarily based on selecting the model from the valve, which will be located in the suction line and be large enough to hold about half of the refrigerant.

There is no standardized rating system for batteries. Billing accuracy becomes a function of the type of equipment used for determining the rating. Some data to serve as a guide for those checking the battery usage.
