Ice Maker
Ice makers use various types of cooling systems, please Note the simple ice-making unit, figure 3-14, the motor-compressor and condenser, usually located in the bottom part of a case. Liquid refrigerant (dark red) flows from the bottom of the condenser through the filter-dehydrator. He enters the evaporator via a capillary tube. Evaporator surrounds inverted (up-down) ice cube form.
From the evaporator, the refrigerant vapor (light blue) goes into the battery. This container contains a coil with liquid refrigerant line in it or around it. This arrangement serves as a heat exchanger. The refrigerant vapor (light blue), taken from the battery back into the compressor. Here is compressed to high pressure side (red light). He forced the capacitor. Hence the cycle repeats.
Mechanism, which receives and processes the ice is also shown. Cold water is sprayed into the inverted ice cube form. The temperature of the mold is very low. Water brightest forms freezes on the surface of the form. It gradually builds up until full of ice cubes are formed. Next, electric heating block is heated ice cube shape until the dice will. They slide down the slide in the ice cube bin. Then the cooling cycle is stopped. Most of the surfaces in contact w7ith water and ice stainless steel cleanliness.
