Climatic conditions
Fig. 20.8 shows the maximum climatic conditions in different regions of the world. Humid tropical areas with high relative humidity, but dry bulb rarely exceed 35C. desert have the arid climate with high temperature dry-bulb thermometer.
The approximate limits of human activity related to the enthalpy of lines and point to the ability of the ambient air to blow 90 440W body heat.
The opposite effect will be held at the cooler end of the scale. Evaporative and convective losses will be much easier and radiation losses can be significant, drawing heat faster than the body can generate it. The rate of heat production can be increased by increasing physical activity, but this is not sustainable, so that the losses should be prevented by thicker insulation against the con-vective loss and reduction of exposure on the skin in the form of clothes. The body itself can compensate for the closure of the sweat pores and lowering the temperature of the skin.
