Refrigerant-compensation for meals-valve type
The upper part of the valve head is similar to the standard adjustment of pressure in the head. At the bottom of the heads of the diaphragm is connected to the main diaphragm with a push rod. As the thermal bulb warms, the fluid expands, pushing up the rod, and the opening of the regulator. Because this is achieved through an external source of power, pressure drop through the head is reduced considerably. Valve head will work in connection with the regulator on 1/2 - 3/4 of a pound for General differential pressure. The point at which the modulation or compensation occurs can be adjusted by turning the adjusting of the stem. Turn the trunk, product temperature increases. By turning the stem, the product temperature is decreased. Non-return valve will remain open, using the suction line pressure until the product is cooled approaches the temperature at which the modulation is to begin. Valve head will hold the temperature of the product within 1/2F (0.28C) the desired temperature. In case of refusal of a thermal element, valve head to use as a direct, non-return valve on adjusting it to a specified pressure suction when system is in a desire to work (see Fig.
10-25).
