Heat Strips Limit Switch

On Fig. 10-1 electric gas heater Assembly is shown. Limit switch is in the electric furnace, as in fossil fuels in the furnace. Its main purpose is to protect the device from ingress of excessively high temperatures. The furnace can overheat if there is a fan fault or if there is not enough air blown through the resistive elements. On Fig. 10.2 shows a typical limit switch. Some of them dual-purpose switches. The first stage of increase in temperature connects to control the fan. Thus jet of cold air is not felt when the electric oven starts to work. When the air in the Plenum achieves comfortable, the heating temperature, the fan starts to operate. If the temperature continues to rise, the second set of contacts that are contained in the limit switch opens. On Fig. 10.2 shows the limit switch for surface mounting. For some applications, insert type, as shown in Fig. 10-3.
