Compressor Connections and Pipes
Tecumseh, like other manufacturers of compressors, compressors made for many producers of refrigerators, air conditioning system and coolers. Because of this same model of the compressor can be found in the field in many suction and discharge variations. Each option depends on the application for which the compressor was developed. The pump suction usually be identified as a stub pipes with large diameter of the housing. If two stubs have the same external diameter, then with a heavy wall will inlet tube. If both of the largest stub pipes have the same outside diameter and wall thickness, then either can be used as inlet tube. However, the one furthest from the terminal is preferred. The socket however must not selected for the extraction may be used for the processing system. Compressor connections usually can be easily identified. However, sometimes the question arises about oil cooler pipes and process. Oil cooler pipe are only in the low-temperature refrigeration models.
These pipes connected to the coil or a sharp turn within the compressor oil in the crankcase (see Fig. 9-66). This coil or a sharp turn does not work inside the compressor. Its function is to cool the crankcase of the compressor oil. Oil radiator pipes, as a rule, is connected to individually separated tube circuit air-cooled condenser.
