Refrigerator Commissioning. Good refrigeration practices for CFC systems

It is a well known fact that the engineer required to work on ammonia the system will be very careful not to allow unjustified discharge refrigerant because of its toxicity. Because CFCs are toxic it was a usual practice discharge into the atmosphere. This must now be considered as abuse and terminate immediately.

Evacuation

It was also the last practice is used for diluting or triple evacuation method, in which a small amount of refrigerant used to dilute the atmosphere inside the system, detente between the evacuation. This method may be employed, but instead release the refrigerant into the atmosphere, it should be removed liquid cooling refrigerant cylinder.

In addition, deeper practical evacuation method should be adopted.

Cleaning of condensers

Practices for the treatment capacitors the refrigerant must be stopped.

Own brands degreasing and cleaning products that are environmentally friendly are easily accessible.

If necessary, apply pressure to ensure the penetration of the fins and pipelines, nitrogen should be used.

Refrigerant drain

You must be especially careful not to overfill the cylinder, and use only those who are free from any oil pollution, acid or moisture.

Do not mix varieties of refrigerants. Always use a cylinder for a specific refrigerant for which it is intended.

Remove the refrigerant from the closed systems

This can be achieved by installing a line tap valve system and its connection to the container.

Disposal of contaminated refrigerant

Contaminated refrigerant, which can be the result of compressor burnout or water-cooled condenser leakage should not be used for expansion of the system. It must be recovered and sent for recycling or disposal.

It must be poured into a special recovery cylinders available from the manufacturers or suppliers of refrigerants. Never use cylinders for remediation of contaminated refrigerants.

When removing refrigerant charges or decantation from the systems suitable protective clothing and eye protection must be worn. All security procedures must be followed.

It is advisable to include isolating hand off valve in the cylinder end of the charging line to minimize the purge. Make sure that the valve is open before discharge from the system. Use to charge the lines without Schreader inserts.
