Refrigerator-FreezerManual Defrost

All refrigerator evaporators will increase the frost layer of moisture in the Cabinet. This frost layer must be removed to allow the evaporator correctly remove heat from the Cabinet. At the beginning of refrigerators do not include electrical components for automatic defrost the evaporator. When a large number of frost builds on the evaporator of such a system, the device must be switched off. The full size of the unit, putting a pan of warm water on the evaporator can reduce the time defrosting. When all the frost is removed, normal operation of the unit can be started.

Fridge-freezer, figure 11-6 consists essentially of two Coldroom. He has a freezer at the top of the Cabinet for frozen food. The temperature in the compartment is kept at about 0F (-180. Refrigerator compartment is located under the freezer for fresh products. In the refrigerating chamber supports a temperature of about 35F 45F (2C to 7C).

Each of these blocks has a separate door. The condensing unit, as a rule, at the bottom of the Cabinet. Capacitor, either at the bottom or on the back.

Refrigerator-freezers provide shelves in both cornpartments. Butter conditioner, as a rule, is at the door of the refrigerating chamber. The doors of both cameras are often fitted with narrow shelves for storage of small containers.
