How to Connect an iPad 2 to a Video Projector
iPad 2 is the second generation of the iPad, a tablet computer that is designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It serves primarily as a platform for audio-visual media, including books, periodicals, movies, music, games and web content, and is available in black or white. Foxconn China iPad 2 production lithium-polymer battery that lasts up to 10 hours, the new dual-core Apple A5 and a front VGA-720p and rear cameras, designed for FaceTime. ..

One of the major advantages that the second-generation iPad has over the original is its ability to mirror the iPad's display through an external device such as a video projector. While selected apps on the original iPad could send a signal to a projector, the iPad 2 allows users to mirror whatever is on its screen.

For those who frequently make presentations—such as public speakers traveling from city to city or advertisers making pitches in the boardrooms of potential clients—the projection capability of the iPad 2 can simplify their task. Gone are the days of dragging around a cumbersome laptop; instead, you can travel much lighter. Aside the video projector (which may already be available on site) and youriF>ad 2, all you require are a small adapter and a monitor cable (which also may be available on site) to connect it to the projector.

The specific adapter and cable needed will be determined by the input of the video projector. If the projector includes the basic VGA input (characterized by its 15 pins), you will need the Apple VGA Adapter for iPad (available directly from Apple or Apple resellers) plus a standard VGA monitor cable.

If, however, you intend to use the high definition capability of an HDMI input on the projector, you will need the Apple Digital AV Adapter plus an HDMI monitor cable. Unlike the VGA Adapter, the Digital AV Adapter includes the option to use a dock connector cable to charge your iPad 2 even as you use it. Regardless of whether you use the VGA or the HDMI option, plug the adapter directly into the dock of theiFbd. To complete the set-up, use the monitor cable to connect the adapter to the projector.

Athird possibility isto use the composite input available on some video projectors. In such a case, you would need the Apple Composite AV Cable. No additional cables or adapters would be required. The Composite AV Cable would connect directly from the dock of the iPad to the video projector. (This is an excellent solution if you will be connecting to a television instead of a projector.)
